Sterling Senior Public School students learned graphic hand lettering and poster making. The class studied the Pop Art Movement of the 1920's, which has impacted commercial and fashion design today. Student's chose one word to represent their personal focus for the future, defining an activity, career, attitude, goal or dream that they wanted to materialize. They learned how to employ templates efficiently to space the letters. Also, they explored ways of achieving different effects using coloured pencils and became familiar with design principles and colour theory.

This workshop helped the students align the visual and verbal cues in their lives to define a pathway for themselves, in a time of change and uncertainty.
